Episode 4: Scientology’s War on a Holocaust Survivor (Paulette Cooper)
Leah and Mike talk with Paulette Cooper, a journalist who became the object of the single largest Fair Game campaign in history. She was framed, sued, smeared, spied on and harassed. And ultimately vindicated when the FBI raided scientology and uncovered their secret operations.
The blog post that goes with this podcast contains numerous links to articles that expand upon the discussion with Paulette
Hubbard’s directive to use R2-45 (shooting someone in the head with a .45 pistol)
One of the scientology “operations” that was carried out against Paulette Cooper with the objective of getting her incarcerated in a mental institution.

On a future show, can you get into what happened to Marty Rathbun. He was very outspoken in regards to Scientology until the lawsuit with his wife….I assume there was a payoff?? It’d be really interested in hearing your thoughts.
I loved aftermath and really happy that you’re doing the podcast.
This is a general question, not specific to this episode.
I understand Scientology’s stance on homosexuality as you have explained it many times on The Aftermath. My question is, how would they respond if my Girlfriend and I went into a “personality test” off the streets and they then realized we were gay? Would they still try to get us to join? Would they tell us we were scum there, or act like it was fine, or just ignore it?
They would still try to get you in and started on something. They would tell you that they don’t discriminate. Once you were hooked it would be addressed in your auditing to handle the “aberration.”
Paulette stated that we could read her book for free but I can’t seem to find a way to do it.
Help please
